The Effect Of Colors On Human
Throughout history, people have wondered about the effect of colors on themselves and their lives. The effect of colors, which is used as a kind of therapy especially in the Far East, is used in many areas today. While some colors that attract attention especially in public spaces and affect human psychology are withdrawn, the energizing effect of some colors once again brings the importance of colors to the agenda. For example, in dining areas, the red color is intense because it makes people hungry. The effect of colors on people is effective in wall paints.
Today, it is certain that colors significantly affect human behavior, orientations and psychology. In a study conducted in Canada, it was shown that students' success graphs can be increased with simple color changes. In the same study, it was determined that some students with behavioral disorders improved when the classrooms were painted in different colors. This is why the children's room wall color is important. While men prefer green, teal, orange and dark purple colors, women prefer light-pale colors such as turquoise green, light blue pink, and children prefer vivid colors such as blue, red, green, yellow and orange.
BLUE
It symbolizes loneliness, sadness, depression, wisdom, trust and loyalty. Blue color, especially dark blue, should be avoided in neurology clinics. Psychologists should never prefer blue-colored clothes in patient interviews. Wearing blue to job interviews signifies determination and commitment. Blue and light blue painted media increase efficiency and performance. Studies show that students get higher grades in blue rooms and weightlifters can lift heavier loads. Also, people can remember the text written in blue more. Therefore, the wall of the study rooms should be blue.
RED
It symbolizes concepts such as heat, fire, blood, lust, love, intimacy, power, excitement and aggression. It can increase blood pressure and respiration. It has the effect of encouraging people to make quick decisions and increase expectations. It is important that the red objects are perfect when decorating and designing. Because people will immediately notice these objects. When we want to attract attention or in the food industry, red can be the wall color.
YELLOW
Yellow is a vibrant color. Although it is a color in nature, yellow wall color will not be good for people. Especially children's rooms should never be used as a wall color. But it can be used on the walls in a theme with different colors.
GREEN
It is a calming and relaxing color. Especially people who tend to have panic attacks, nervous breakdowns and people who are overly excited should be in a green room.
BLACK
While people used to find black to be pessimistic, they now perceive it as a cool and rich indicator. The black color space will appear to have shrunk. Therefore, it should be used on walls with gold or silver patterns.
WHITE
It symbolizes purity, cleanliness and innocence. It also creates a spacious environment. For this reason, it is useful to paint the room that we want to show large in white.
PINK
Pink and its shades are among the most delicate colors. The delicate color absorbs people's energy. Therefore, it gives calmness and peace. But the tone used is important.
